We found out that many people were traveling to Carbondale, IL. to view the eclipse. Carbondale is where SIU is located. The college stadium had a huge screen that projected the eclipse showing the moon gradually gobbling up the sun. That location was also located right on the point of maximum eclipse time, over four minutes. Many people were there.
