Mural Mile

Recently we visited The Mural Mile in St. Louis. It is a huge levee located along the Riverfront between Victor and Chouteau Avenues just south of the Gateway Arch. They started building the thing in 1997 and the project quickly became a big annual event celebrated every Labor Day weekend until it’s completion in 2000. They also organized a whole bunch of graffiti artists, 250 or more, from around the country to came to St. Louis and add their artwork to this mural. So cool.  A place to see for sure.
