Dorvol Airport

We flew a Northwest 757 out of Seattle to Minneapolis.  From there we took a DC-9 to Montreal.  There was nobody in first class so we got the first row of first class seats (to balance the passenger load).  I like first class.  The seats are actually wide enough so you can swish around a bit.  Not only that but we had all the food we could eat.

Here is the DC-9 we took back to Minneapolis.  I had to sit in the very last row this time right next to the engines.  Boy was it noisy.

Inside the 757 on the return trip.

Dorval from a distance.

On our last day we checked out of the hotel at noon but we had 5 hours to get to the airport.  So we took the metro then transferred to the bus.  Lots of fun.

I kept all my receipts.   There is an 8 percent Federal tax and a 7 percent provincial  tax, but you can get a refund when leaving the country.  The refund office was outside the security check area.  I could not get a refund without going through customs and getting a boarding pass.   So I would have to go through customs, get my pass, go out through the exit, come back into the departure area, get my refund, go back through customs, and hope to find everybody.   They did not make it easy to get a refund.  They wanted to keep their tax.

Coming into Seattle.
