In the area on Crescent Street immediately south of the Museum of Fine Arts on Sherbrooke Street, are many restaurants, shops and boutiques. Here also they hold the annual Bavarian Beer Festival.
Actually wine and beer are expensive commodities in Montreal (maybe because of all the Catholics or something). I paid $7 for a glass of local draft beer but it was sure good beer.
We found a great Lebanese place and had lunch. It was so good we came back again. the owners were a Lebanese family, and their recipes were secret. We got one of the sons and daughters to pose for a pic.
