England

We left Dublin and sailed across the Irish sea aboard the good ferry Ulysses run by Irish Ferries.  It was a nice ship, fully equipped with bars, movies, reading, sleeping, and sightseeing areas.  Cynthia saw a movie and naturally I went to sleep.

Our return trip was not at all as peaceful.  the sea was "moderate" which means that everything went back and forth, and the only way to walk was like a crab.

After we both arrived in west Sussex, we made a trip to London with our friend.  It's hard to find boring things in London but the ladies managed to do just that, an art museum, namely, the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Yes, they still have those funny looking phone booths along with the double-decker buses.

This is the famous Pavilion built by George IV in Brighton.  It's an amazing display of opulence.  Most important--it was warm inside because the Atlantic blows cold even in March and our visit was no exception.

George had it built when he was still a Regent.  The resort put Brighton on the map, because when George became king he often would visit.

Here we are again happily freezing to death on the streets of Brighton.
