Fool is the zero trump card in Tarot. It is a sign of
unlimited potential so it has no place in the normal sequence of cards. The
Fool’s journey through life needs no number. It has no sense of space
or time.
A man is about to walk over the edge of a cliff, sort of totally distracted and doesn't seem to have a care in the world. He looks up toward the sky and is unaware of what he is about to do. Over his shoulder is a knapsack that has all his things. The white rose in his left hand represents his innocence. At his feet is a small white dog trying to warn him of danger.
The Fool reminds us to recognize the path of personal development within ourselves -- and the stage upon that path where we find ourselves -- in order to energize our movement toward deeper self-understanding.
The Fool advises that you lighten up. Let yourself be more spontaneous and go beyond normal logic in your world view. By thinking you possess the knowledge, power, or control to direct your own reality can lead to destruction. The Fool has no ambition to manipulate a specific outcome. Just be happy to be part of the whole.
Release any demands or expectations. Give your complete attention to events as they are occurring in the present moment.
